Servier’s “Meet Our Team” series introduces our talented and diverse team that works tirelessly to bring the promise of tomorrow to our patients!

Meet our Director of Corporate Strategy, Tyler Macnee. Tyler leads the strategic planning process and collaborates cross-functionally to develop our short and long-term company strategy. Beyond defining our strategic ambition and plans, he executes projects that are consistent with our company goals and focused on growth opportunities and operational efficiency.

What do you love most about your role at Servier?

I love that my role in corporate strategy is incredibly cross-functional, giving me the opportunity to work with all of the talented individuals across our company.

Further, the strategic nature of the role means that I can often take a longer-term view of our business, escaping the day-to-day operational requirements and ensuring we can continue to serve patients in the years to come, beyond the patients we serve today.

What does life look like for you outside of the office?

In my free time, I love finding any sort of game or activity that gets me outside and gets me active. In particular, I love playing soccer games on the weekend with my team in Boston, taking trips out west or to Europe to go skiing, or heading out to a local course for a quick round of golf

Further, having grown up in Vermont and gone to school in Vermont and New Hampshire, hiking in the Green and White mountains and stopping by a craft brewery afterward as a reward is another favorite activity!

Can you share a memorable Servier moment?

I recently had the chance to attend the grand opening of our new office space in the Seaport in Boston. It was so great to be surrounded by colleagues and friends to celebrate what I consider to be a symbol of our company’s growth and success in delivering value to patients.

The time and effort that went into designing the space was evident, with nods to our four company values—including care, dare to innovate, commit to succeed and grow by sharing—throughout the office and a design that encourages innovation and hybrid working models. I was excited and proud about that office opening celebration and look forward to many more memories.
